Toddler Programs
Toddler Early Education
Our Toddler Program (12 months to 2 ½ years) is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of a young child. Our Emerging Toddler Classroom provides a learning environment to help Infants successfully transition into a Toddler classroom. Children must be at least 1 year old and walking to start in the Emerging Toddler Classroom. We also have two additional toddler classrooms: our Toddler Classroom and our Toddler Two Classroom. Our toddler classrooms provide the same teacher ratios as our infant classrooms, and have a maximum enrollment of 12 toddlers per day.
We encourage your child to learn while playing and exploring, both on their own and with their peers. Your child is provided with opportunities for multi-sensory experiences aimed at sparking and satisfying curiosity. Flexibility and spontaneity throughout the day help in strengthening each child’s individual capabilities at various stages of development. Toddler programs follow the Creative Curriculum which is designed to provide positive daily interaction and new experiences to help your child grow and thrive. Our toddlers also participate in Young Children's Worship through various developmentally appropriate stories, songs, and activities.
Both indoor and outdoor play offer your child an opportunity to discover and explore the world around them. Our toddler classrooms share a developmenally appropriate playground that is designed specifically for toddlers. Children spend time in our Skyroom, which provides an indoor alternative to playground play during inclement weather. As in our infant classrooms, toddlers are assessed using the GOLD Assessments and teachers hold parent teacher conferences twice annually with families to discuss your child's progress.
